This route takes us through one of the Cape's most beautiful fruit growing areas, the upland Elgin valley.
Once arriving in Gansbaai, where the sharks are, you will greeted by the friendly qualified crew from the diving company.

Shark Cage Diving offers a once in a lifetime experience where you get to come close to this remarkable creature of the deep, in a respectful and safe environment.
No diving experience needed, as you do not use a snorkel and you are safely in a cage.
The company we use was proudly the winner of the Luxury Travel Guide award for best diving company in Africa and in the Middle East.
After the dive you will be brought back to land, where a light lunch will be served,
accompanied by a movie made of the day's shark cage dive.
Your skipper will discus the day's dive while the movie is being viewed, narrating and answering any more questions.
Departing Gansbaai we make our way along a narrow ribbon of land between towering mountains and a spectacular shoreline, to the famous town of Hermanus.
Known as 1 of the top 10 areas for land-based whale viewing in the world.
Southern Right whales comes to our shores to mate and also calve their young, during the months of August – November, spotting single males even as early as July in the bay.
Here you will have some free time to relax in this peaceful little town, indulge in some local foods, discover little antique stores, museums and even if your lucky, get to meet the artist at work while visiting the many art galleries within walking distance from each other.
Departing Hermanus we stay along the 'Whale Route', making our way to a special little African Penguin colony.
Here you can spot up to 4 different types of Cormorant birds, see local Dassies grazing on the shrubs and a variety of lizards lounging on the rocks.
The walkway system allows you to walk much farther in amid the whole penguin colony, compared to Boulders Beach in Simon's Town.
From here we make our way along the spectacular Clarence Drive towards Cape Town.
Known as one of the most stunning coastal drives in the world, it's every bit as exciting as our famous Chapman's Peak.
