WHAT TO EXPECT:
We start our Cape Town City tour with a walk through the infamous Company Gardens.
Started in 1652, spot the oldest planted tree in South Africa, a Saffron Pear Tree.
See point of interest like, St Georges Cathedral, House of Parliament, Old Slave Lodge and the City Hall, where ex-president Nelson Mandela addressed 250 000 people upon he's release from prison on 11 February 1990. or
For the coffee lovers out there, I know a special little place, chosen by the UK Telegraph as the world's best coffee shop.
We can easily divert the route to add this as a optional stop.
Visit the Castle of Good Hope, known as the best preserved example of a 17th century architectural structure in the world.
Enjoy a guided tour through this iconic castle, along with a Canon Firing ceremony (weather permitting)
Next we walk through a beautiful Flower Market, one of the oldest markets in Cape Town.
With the Cape Floral Kingdom being the smallest, but richest floral kingdom in the world,
the variety is truly breathtaking.
Also visit the oldest Flee market in South Africa.
Here you will have the opportunity to do some haggling ( bargaining ) on locally and neighbouring countries art, sculptures and clothing.
After shopping, get picked up in tour vehicle and driven to a more eclectic side of the Mother City.
Busy both day and night, this area has an extensive mix of businesses that feed, clothe, style, and sustain the residents of the City Bowl.
Here you will be spoilt for lunch choices, from the best burger bar in Cape Town, to blackboard style dining experiences, or even try some local South African venison meats.
The choice is all yours..
After lunch, we visit the world famous Table Mountain via it's own cable way.
Proclaimed as '1 of the 7 Natural Wonders of the world'.
Here I will show you exactly why the mountain deserves that title, with a walk around the summit, showcasing the highlights of the great mother city and beyond.
Final stop, the Cape Malay area of Bo - Kaap, known for it's cobbled streets, colourful houses and friendly locals.
Here we will have the opportunity to take a guided stroll in the heart of this eclectic suburb of Cape Town, allowing for beautiful photo opportunities.
Tour will finish off around 5:30pm, with drop off at desired location within the city.
